Terms of Service
Effective 7 October 2026. These terms govern the use of the Vagai Silambam software platform.
The service
Vagai Silambam provides software for managing a Silambam academy: students, attendance, events, fees, uniforms, achievements, certificates and reports, through a web application and an Android app.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for what the people you invite do with their access. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. One account per person; do not share logins.
Your data
The records you enter remain yours. We process them only to provide the service. Files you upload are stored in the Google account you connect. You may export your data at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access another academy's data, probe or disrupt the service, or upload content you have no right to store — including personal information about students without the consent of their parents or guardians.
Subscriptions
Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in INR, exclusive of GST. Plan limits (students, branches, users) are enforced by the service. If payment fails we retry; after a grace period the academy becomes read-only. Your data is retained — it is not deleted for non-payment.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Access continues to the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party outages (including Google) and events beyond our control may interrupt it. The Android app continues to work offline for attendance.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. Keep your own backups of anything critical.
Changes
We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
